UK. Clinique has created a new foundation line, called Perfectly Real Makeup. It is being launched into travel retail worldwide this month, with the exception of Asia/Pacific, where it will be introduced in September.
The make-up is claimed to deliver a flawless, weightless finish that adjusts not only to individuals’ skin tone and type, but to room lighting too. This is thanks to its “micro-mirrored pigment technology” that tricks the human eye by creating camouflage reflections, or “hiding power” as Clinique describes it.
Perfectly Real Makeup also features light-adjusting pigments and advanced sensory technology which helps to deliver moisture and control excess oil where and when it’s needed.
The foundation has an easy-to-blend mousse-like texture, and an oil-free, sweat- and humidity-resistant formula. It is available in 20 shades, Clinique’s most extensive range to date. These are numbered as opposed to named, and are categorised within a spectrum of very fair to moderately fair to medium to dark.
Perfectly Real Makeup is presented in a 1oz “tottle” – part tube, part bottle – so that it simultaneously remains flat and stands upright.
