Italian lifestyle brand Coccinelle reported a +10% year-on-year increase in global sales for the first half of 2025, buoyed by a strategy centred on customer-centricity and targeted retail expansion.
Direct-to-consumer retail grew +5%, while ecommerce via coccinelle.com remained in line with the previous year.
Part of this international expansion is the recent opening of two travel retail stores at Roma Termini railway station and Venice Marco Polo Airport. Coccinelle also unveiled a domestic boutique in Bologna’s central Piazza Galvani.
Internationally, the brand accelerated its presence in Asia with the launch of four pop-up stores in Tokyo, Yokohama and Nagoya – and two additional permanent locations at Tokyo Daimaru and Umeda Hankyu in Osaka.
In addition, Coccinelle rolled out a travelling pop-up store concept designed to enhance brand visibility in key global markets. High-profile locations included El Corte Inglés in Madrid and Marbella, La Rinascente Duomo in Milan, and Ludwig Beck in Munich.
Coccinelle COO Emanuele Mazziotta commented, “The first half of the year underscored the importance, for those operating in a global environment, of maintaining a delicate balance between strategic vision and adaptability.
“In a world marked by constant transformation, the strength of our results reflects Coccinelle’s unwavering commitment to sustainable growth, consistency and a deep focus on the end customer.

“Our international expansion and the evolution of our retail channels are guided by a measured and conscious development approach, one that enhances and protects the brand’s unique identity. We invest with a long-term perspective, reinforcing our presence in key markets through projects that embody quality, inclusion and meticulous attention to detail.
“In a time of rapid change and reduced certainties, we remain anchored to a clear vision, centred on people and aligned with the values that have always shaped our actions. It is this consistency, combined with a genuine openness to listening and responding to the needs of today, that will continue to inspire and guide our future decisions.” ✈
