Cointreau celebrates cocktails with Las Vegas pop-up

US. Rémy Cointreau Global Travel Retail partnered with Dufry to introduce its Cointreau Art of the Mix activation at Las Vegas McCarran International Airport in June and July. The pop-up was designed to reinforce Cointreau’s status as an essential cocktail ingredient.

Guests were welcomed at the bar, which had accents of Cointreau’s signature orange and was coated in greenery, by a brand ambassador before being given the chance to shake a cocktail featuring Cointreau: Daiquiri L’Orange; Cointreau Fizz or White Lady.

Customers were then directed to a digital photo booth where they were encouraged to share their photo with the hashtag #TheArtOfTheMix before being able to personalise their purchase with gift cards and ribbons featuring cocktail recipes.

To reiterate Cointreau’s importance to cocktails, cocktail making kits were presented as a GWP.

Guests were invited to share their experience on social media

Rémy Cointreau CEO of Liqueurs & Spirits Jean-Denis Voin said: “Cointreau is a leading brand in the liqueurs category and unavoidable in airport shelves around the world. Our goal is clear: to establish ourselves as an essential part of the cocktail scene, thanks to our proven legitimacy in this area.”

Dufry Global Head of Liquor David de Miguel said the activation was “exquisite”. He continued: “Our travellers easily recognised the iconic Cointreau orange branding, drawing them straight into the fun. At Dufry, we’re all about enhancing our customers’ shopping experiences and this activation did just that.”

The gift cards featured a number of cocktail recipes

Speaking about the partnership with Dufry, Rémy Cointreau Global Travel Retail Americas General Director Sebastien Devallet said: “Dufry was a fantastic partner in bringing our vision to life and we look forward to welcoming many more travellers to the world of Cointreau.”
