Designed in London, the Colibri men’s jewellery collection echoes Art Deco architecture |
Colibri is celebrating its return to the international stage with a range of men’s jewellery inspired by 1920s Art Deco design.
Designed in London, the collection is said to echo the clean lines and geometric styles of Art Deco architecture. It emphasises the use of exotic high quality materials such as peridot, carbon fibre and natural alligator skin.
“Our products have always combined the classical with a touch of the exotic,” said Colibri creative director Laurence Lassalle. “We wanted to reflect that exciting, quirky spirit in the new collection.”
Inspired by travel and exploration, the accessories are made with semi-precious red jasper, onyx, malachite and black pearl and set in stainless steel, gunmetal, chrome and rose gold finishes.
Colibri jewellery is available in three series that reflect the wide-ranging tastes of its customers: T-Series for a technical, high-performance feel; C-Series for the classic professional; and D-Series for a style-conscious, design approach.

New Monza lighter
Colibri has announced the release of its most technical lighter range yet, the Monza – created by British designers to “celebrate the atmosphere and action of the race track”.
“The founders of Colibri had a passion for British motor racing and we wanted to bring that energy and romance into our line,” said Lassalle. “We worked with our in-house team of leading product designers to create this inspiring new range.”
The Monza series includes both lighters and cigar cutters.
The lighters sport a single action push system for quick-fire ignition, and come with windproof single jet or triple jet flame. Their bright anodised surfaces are inspired by the colourful brake discs of sports cars, while the Pachmayr casing echoes the tough grips of the driver’s cockpit.
All products in the Monza range are available in matte black with a choice of five anodised colours, and are embellished with the historic Colibri motif. The Monza cutters are spring-loaded with ergonomic double-sided handles and boast a 62 ring gauge.
The Monza range offers operators the opportunity to boost cigar sales with affordable accessories from Colibri, the company said.
