Concessions International and Shake Shack unveil restaurant at Dallas Fort Worth

USA. Concessions International (CI) and US “roadside” burger stand company Shake Shack have opened a new restaurant at Dallas Fort Worth International (DFW) Airport Terminal C.

Travellers attending the grand opening were treated to free Shake Shack samples and merchandise giveaways.

The eatery is operated by CI in partnership with Southwest Minority Financial Group and H&H Hospitality. CI’s other ventures at the airport include Drew Pearson Sports 88, Genghis Grill and Einstein Bros Bagels.

Representatives from the three partners joined with City of Dallas and airport officials at a grand opening event this week.

Officially opening the new Shake Shack are, left to right, George Johnson (Southwest Minority Financial Group), Kirk Weiss (Concessions International), Carolyn Phillips (Dallas Fort Worth International Airport) and Michael Baldwin (Concessions International).

The restaurant – located near Gate C7 and open daily from 5am to 10pm – serves Shake Shack “classics” such as Angus beef burgers, chicken sandwiches, flat-top Vienna beef dogs, frozen custard and crinkle-cut fries.

All Shack Shack burgers are made from 100% Angus beef.

Also on offer is a breakfast menu, which includes signature Shake Shack breakfast sandwiches. These feature combinations of pork sausage, Applewood smoked bacon, griddled cage-free eggs and American cheese.

One of Shake Shack’s signature breakfast sandwiches, served with Stumptown Coffee.

The drinks menu features coffee from Stumptown Coffee Roasters, including an exclusive Stumptown Shack blend and Stumptown Cold Brew. Craft beer and wine are also available.

Shake Shack Vice President Global Licensing Michael Kark said: “We’re excited to kick off 2019 with the opening of our DFW Shack at one of the busiest airports in the world. We’re continually humbled by the support our Texas fans have shown us and we look forward to deepening that connection with the opening of the DFW Shack.”

Frozen custards are a staple of the extensive Shake Shack menu.
