DENMARK. Copenhagen Airport has chosen Inventive IT’s Altitude Reservation system to manage pre book parking across the hub’s 10,000 spaces.
Copenhagen Airports Vice President Sales & Marketing Carsten Norland explained why the airport, which handles more than 1.3 million parking transactions a year, had chosen the system.
“We thoroughly reviewed other systems in the market and found that Inventive’s system provided the highest level of flexibility, as well as the best fit to our requirements for the continuous development of our business,” he said.
Inventive IT rolled out Altitude in March 2011 across Liverpool, Durham and Doncaster Airports and claims to have seen a +15% year-on-year increase in revenues and a +10% increase in customers upgrading their parking options since then.
“We are excited to be working with Copenhagen on this project and look forward to bringing some real innovation into the airport parking sector,” said Inventive IT Chief Executive John Charnock.
“We’ve closed several strategic deals over the last six months. This will see our Altitude Reservation system in use at eight airports and a major port authority.”
