UK. UK coffee company Costa has redesigned its 24-hour store at London Luton Airport, featuring a completely new bar and service area.
Costa Store Manager Ash Chambers commented: “We have worked in partnership with London Luton Airport to ensure we deliver improvements that enhance the customers’ visit to our store and their journey through the Airport, bringing a faster drinks service, increased food range and a larger choice of seating.”
In the same week as opening the revamped store, staff at the location found recent fundraising efforts have made it possible to open a classroom for the Costa Foundation in a new school built in the remote and mountainous coffee-growing area of Kasese, Uganda.
Deputy Store Manager Nikki Brown said: “Each year our area team works hard to raise money for the Costa Foundation. Our efforts mean that this is the first secondary school in the region. This really helps change lives for the better and means a lot to our teams.”
