Coty updates Cavalli with Acqua fragrance |
Coty has unveiled a new feminine fragrance from the house of Cavalli. Roberto Cavalli Acqua will be available in travel retail doors worldwide from March.
Inspired by the Mediterranean, the juice is described as a sparkling edt. Like the brand’s signature feminine fragrance, it was composed by Givaudan’s Louise Turner. The scent features top notes of aquatic jasmine, atop a heart of lily-of-the-valley, building to a musky dry-down.
The packaging reinterprets that of the original Roberto Cavalli fragrance, introduced in February 2012, with a new turquoise and gold colour-scheme. Elisa Sednaoui is once again the fragrance face.
This latest creation underlines the big ambitions Coty has for its Cavalli business. At the launch of its debut, signature Roberto Cavalli edp in Florence in 2011, Coty Prestige President Jean Mortier told The Moodie Report: “This [introduction] is just the beginning of the rebirth of the house of Cavalli, and will be followed by other launches.”
Last November, the group also unveiled the Just Cavalli fragrance, named after the designer’s youth-oriented fashion line. A complementary masculine Just Cavalli scent will be introduced in September.
