INTERNATIONAL. Coty Chief Digital Officer Jean-Denis Mariani is the latest leading beauty industry figure to join the Knowledge Hub speaker lineup for Beauty Tech Live, set for 12-16 April, 2021.
Mariani joins L’Oréal Group Chief Digital Officer Lubomira Rochet, L’Occitane en Provence Group Sustainability Officer and Director Adrian Geiger, Puig Chief Operating Officer Javier Bach, Luxasia Group Chief Executive Officer Dr. Wolfgang Baier and A.S. Watson Group (ASW) Chief Operating Officer and A.S. Watson Asia & Europe Chief Executive Officer Malina Ngai, as high-profile speakers continue to be announced for Beauty Tech Live.
Mariani manages Coty’s digital strategy and is responsible for growing the company’s global ecommerce and direct-to-consumer operations. Mariani has a stellar beauty industry career and helped develop and implement the global digital strategies of some of the world’s leading beauty brands.
He joined Coty from the LVMH Group where he was Guerlain’s Chief Digital Officer and also a member of the Executive Committee. In this role, Mariani helped accelerate Guerlain’s digital and ecommerce transformation.
Prior to this, Mariani also held leadership roles at L’Oréal Group, where he was responsible for driving the digital transformation of the group’s Professional Division.
Beauty Tech Live is a pioneering virtual event that will showcase the joint worlds of beauty and technology. It is the first virtual expo of its kind in the sector, bringing together the latest tech innovations and solutions across all stakeholders in the beauty industry.
The event is being organised by the newly formed Moodie Davitt Virtual Expo Company in partnership with leading B2B beauty title BW Confidential.
