Coty Prestige has extended its Bottega Veneta fragrance franchise with a new scent, Bottega Veneta Essence Aromatique. It is being introduced to selected “ultra prestige” doors worldwide this month.
The juice, described as a new interpretation of a classic Cologne, was composed by Michal Almairac. It opens with an accord of bergamot and coriander, building to a heart of Turkish Rose Absolute and patchouli, atop a sandalwood base.
“The primary inspiration was the freshness of a summer day and the tranquility of a seaside experience, from the warmth of the sun, to a gentle breeze and the unimaginably captivating infusion of the sea,” explained Bottega Veneta Creative Director Tomas Maier.
The brand’s signature glass bottle with intrecciato textured base has been updated with a frosted finish and a decorative butterfly motif. The fragrance is coloured a pale green; the cap is silver.
The ad campaign features model Nine d’Urso, daughter of French fashion icon Inès de la Fressange. The visual was shot by Bruce Weber in South Florida on Golden Beach.
