Cross has released a new range of writing instruments to celebrate the 2016 Chinese Year of the Monkey.
The new set of pens, an addition to the brand’s Zodiac collection, is etched with the monkey icon, which, according to Cross, is a symbol of creativity, intelligence and versatility.

Available in ballpoint, Selectip rolling ball and fountain pen styles, the writing instruments are presented in Zodiac Special Edition presentation gift packaging and are accompanied by an acrylic pen stand and romance book.
According to Cross, the Tibetan teal and brushed platinum plate celebrate the “lucky” colours of those born under the sign of the monkey. The writing instruments feature 23 carat gold plate and a solid 18 carat gold fountain pen nib, decorated with a year of the monkey pattern.
