DAA tenders Dublin Airport T1 store amid major redevelopment

DAA is remodelling The Street at Dublin Airport T1 airside

IRELAND. Retailers are invited to submit proposals for a new concession at Dublin Airport Terminal 1 airside, as phase one of a major redevelopment gets underway.

Airport company DAA said in its tender notice: “Following on from the successful development of Terminal 2, the phased redevelopment of The Street main shopping area at Terminal 1 provides an exciting opportunity for retail concession operators to showcase new designs and innovative offerings to surpass those in Terminal 2.

“Phase one, now underway, will see the relocation of the existing bookstore on The Street to a new location approximately midway on The Street/Terminal 1 extension shopping area. As part of phase two DAA is now inviting proposals from retailers for a new concession opportunity.”
