Danzka Vodka Apple |
Danzka Vodka is set to launch Danzka Vodka Apple, its first flavour expansion in ten years, at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes next month (stand number: Green Village H52).
The 40%abv apple vodka is the first new flavour for Danzka since the launch of Cranraz ten years ago, and joins the portfolio of premium flavoured Danish vodkas including Danzka Vodka Citrus, Danzka Vodka Currant, Danzka Vodka Grapefruit, and Danzka Vodka Cranraz.
“Danzka Apple is very important for us. Danzka Apple is not a flavour that was developed because we had to come up with something new; it was developed because we see a real request for apple. We are going to the root of basic but delicious flavours,” said Waldemar Behn GmbH Managing Director Rüdiger Behn.
Danzka Vodka Apple, with its taste of crisp green apples, is an ideal base for an appletini, said Waldemar Behn Global Sales Director Torben Vedel Andersen.
“Appletinis are a standard part of drinks menus in bars around the world,” he noted. “Danzka Apple is the natural choice vodka to make a refreshing appletini with simple but delicious flavours. Now there is a premium apple vodka to feature in a high quality appletini.”
Described as “colourless, bright and polished with a long body”, Danzka Vodka Apple features an aroma of freshly grated, slightly under ripe Granny Smith and Red Delicious apples, with “a very subtle spirit underline”. On the palate, the notes of apple give way to a slight liquorice sweetness with pepper and grassy undertones. It is best served frozen, or with plenty of ice and soda, lemonade or ginger ale.
Danzka Apple Vodka is ready to ship after its global launch at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes and will be on shelf on 1 January 2015.
