Davidoff opens doors of redesigned flagship store in Tokyo

Davidoff has announced that it has opened the renewed Davidoff flagship store in Tokyo’s Ginza district, managed by Bluebell Japan.

Blending traditional culture with contemporary art, fashion, trends and technology, the luxury shopping district of Ginza provides the backdrop for the store, which features spacious and open rooms with a cigar lounge and 10.3sq m walk-in humidor.

The 62sq m interior has been designed with the internationally standardised style and concept of “Davidoff of Geneva – since 1911”.

The interior is decorated with wooden and natural materials with copper accents as well as earth tones to resemble the colour of cigars.

Consumers can choose from the entire Oettinger Davidoff product range, including AVO, Davidoff, The Griffin’s, Private Stock, Winston Churchill, Zino Classic and Zino Platinum.

Bluebell Japan General Manager for Cigars Shinichi Sakata said Ginza has over 270,000 visitors and is one of the “˜avant garde’ places in Japan that is cosmopolitan and diverse. “We are happy to introduce our store with the new global concept “˜Davidoff of Geneva – since 1911′. Being a lifestyle and luxury brand, Davidoff expects customers to spend their time beautifully with top quality cigars from multiple origins and territories at our lounge.”

There are currently 65 Davidoff boutiques worldwide.
