USA. Global hospitality and entertainment company Delaware North has launched Ashley Cooper Provisions, its latest food & beverage outlet in a new concessions programme at Charleston International Airport.
The 50-seat venue has airfield views and is a Delaware North proprietary concept with a local vibe. It is named after the convergence of the Ashley and Cooper rivers in Charleston Harbor, a defining feature of the South Carolina city.
The new concept features Charleston-inspired bites and cocktails, including Southern US appetisers, the Lowcountry Breakfast Biscuit Sandwich, the Bloody Mary Shrimp Cocktail and the Pimento Cheese BLT.

Located in the Terminal A-B Connector, Ashley Cooper Provisions replaces and expands on the space previously occupied by Delaware North’s Harvest & Grounds bar/restaurant.
To mark the Ashley Cooper Provisions grand opening, Delaware North is partnering with Tito’s Handmade Vodka on a charitable activation benefitting local non-profit One80 Place. Tito’s ‘Love Team’ has made a US$5,000 donation to support the charity’s mission to end and prevent homelessness.
Proceeds from a limited-time drink, the Grand Harvest Cocktail created by Cocktail Bandits, will boost this donation. The Charleston-based duo Johnny Caldwell and Taneka Reaves promote female empowerment through advocacy for the food & beverage community from a feminine, urban perspective, Delaware North noted.

Delaware North Operations Director for Airports Michael Blake said: “The Ashley and Cooper rivers have influenced the development and character of Charleston throughout the centuries.
“Today, the convergence of these rivers continues to be a focal point for both residents and visitors, so we thought it appropriate to make it a defining point of the restaurant.”
Charleston International Airport Executive Director and CEO Elliott Summey commented: “Ashley Cooper Provisions will offer an authentic taste of Charleston’s renowned culinary culture, showcasing local flavours that both visitors and our community will appreciate.
“Delaware North has been a great partner in helping us elevate the food & beverage offerings at CHS, and we look forward to furthering this collaboration as we work together to make our airport a world-class destination.”
Ashley Cooper Provisions follows the first two openings in the Delaware North F&B programme at Charleston Airport. A Starbucks opened in July (story here) and Commonhouse Aleworks was unveiled in late 2023 (story here).
The next opening for the concessionaire at the airport, Southern Table, is a restaurant partnership with local celebrity chef Kardea Brown, host of the Food Network series Delicious Miss Brown. Construction of the venue is expected to begin in early 2025.
