USA. Delaware North, alongside joint-venture partners Edgar Chase and Jeffries Hospitality, has added a Prince’s Hot Chicken restaurant to its stable of venues at Nashville International Airport.
Prince’s Hot Chicken – which uses the strapline ‘the original hot chicken’ – is a well-known local brand with four downtown venues in Nashville and others in Knoxville, Tennessee and Greenville, South Carolina.

The brand was founded nearly 100 years ago by Thornton Prince, known as ‘the father of Nashville’s hot chicken’, and is now led by his great niece, Andre Prince Jeffries and her daughter, Semone Jeffries.
The debut airport venue is located in the corridor between concourses C and D. Menu items include an assortment of chicken tenders – served plain, mild, medium, hot and XX hot – and the signature Andre sandwich, as well as sides such as French fries, coleslaw and macaroni cheese.
Delaware North Nashville Airport General Manager Donald Graham said: “It’s a really proud moment for us to bring such an iconic local brand into the airport. Prince’s Hot Chicken is the original name in hot chicken, which is hotter – both in flavour profile and popularity – than ever before.”
Prince’s Hot Chicken CEO Semone Jeffries said: “It’s an exciting time for Prince’s and the family to finally be a part of the airport community. We are honoured and thankful to be up and running with our joint-venture partners Delaware North, and look forward to sharing our love of hot chicken with travellers far and wide.”
Delaware North’s line-up of food & beverage venues at Nashville International Airport also includes Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge and PigStar BBQ.
