INDIA. Three senior members of Delhi Duty Free’s management team have been honoured at the Stars of the Industry awards for ‘ET (Economic Times) Ascent Excellence in Leadership’.
The travel retailer’s CEO Ashish Chopra received the prestigious CEO of the Year Award, while CFO Rajiv Madan received the Best Environmental & Sustainability Practices Award and Head of HR Siddhartha Jain the Best Training and Organizational Development Award.
The awards – which have been running since 2006 – were presented during a gala event at the Taj Ambassador in New Delhi.
Chopra’s award was in recognition of his exceptional contributions to the travel retail industry.
Madan and his team were recognised for Delhi Duty Free’s dedication to the principle of sustainability as well as its advancement of community projects both inside and outside the organisation.
Finally, Jain was honoured for the ongoing efforts of his team to attract the most qualified individuals and engage them in meaningful work that contributes to their professional growth as well as the success of the company.

Delhi Duty Free Services also recently received a hat-trick of accolades at the Spiritz Achievers Awards. The awards are presented by Spiritz magazine, which focuses on the Indian alcohol beverage industry.
