Dessange introduces haircare line featuring 15 new products

French beauty and hair specialist Dessange has unveiled a new line of haircare products.

With a ‘haircare is the new skincare’ tagline, the 15 products target a range of hair issues including protection, radiance, light-enhancing, hydrating, taming and thickening. In the line-up are washing milks and creams, hydrating creams, perfecting serum and protective oils.

The brand, which is represented in travel retail by David Dayan’s Immediat Boarding, said the collection is designed and packaged like a range of skincare products, with similar expectations of radiance, hydration and protection.

Dessange said the new line underlines the three pillars of the brand’s DNA: cutting-edge French know-how, innovative formulas and a commitment to women’s beauty with the Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) association.

The brand has supported CEW, and its Les Centres de Beauté, which offers beauty care to hospitalised women, since 2007. Dessange will donate €0.20 for each product sold from this new line to CEW.

Five product ranges are presented in line with women’s haircare needs and expectations.

Radiance includes Washing Milk (250ml, RRP €35.50) and Nutritive Cream (150ml, €51) to enhance the shine, highlights and nuances of coloured hair. Both offer fruity scents of bergamot, raspberry, rose, vanilla and patchouli to combine with hydrating hyaluronic acid, an antioxidant vitamin E derivative and camellia oil.

To pamper sensitised hair, Dessange combined hydrating hyaluronic acid, rose hip oil and wheat peptides in three Protective products: Washing Milk (250ml, €35.50), Nutritive Cream (200ml, €51), and Non-Foaming Washing Cream (200ml, €35.50). All have a spicy pink violent scent.

The Hydrating Line is suitable for all hair types and includes floral-scented Washing Milk (250ml, €35.50) and Hydrating Cream (200ml, €46) which makes untangling easier and, according to the brand, leaves the hair suppler and lighter.

Highlighting haircare: The Duo Washing Milk & Light Cream is suited to dry hair

Light-Enhancing targets blond hair, with two products, Washing Milk (250ml, €35.50) and Nutritive Cream (200ml, €51), which include lemon, bergamot, jasmine, soft musk and cashmere wood notes. The Washing Milk is contains hyaluronic acid, protective fruit acids and chamomile to intensify blond highlights and protect against progressive fading.

Dessange’s Taming line threesome – Washing Milk (250ml, €35, 50), Nutritive Cream (200ml, €51) and no-rinse Perfecting Serum (100ml, €41) – is for unruly hair. Thickening Effect was created for fine hair and features the Duo Washing Milk & Light Cream, two 200ml tubes with a RRP of €70.

To complete its new line, Dessange also offers Protective Oils, for normal to fine hair and dry hair. Both are presented in a 100ml pump bottle with a €51 RRP.

The products are presented in matt and glossy-finish packaging in pink tones.
