US. 4 Orange Vodka, the Florida-distilled super-premium vodka brand, made its travel retail debut in the highly appropriate venue of the IAADFS Duty Free Show of the Americas in Orlando, its home territory.
“4 Vodka has had a great reception here at the show,” Imperial Brands Vice President of National Accounts Paul Massey told The Moodie Report during the fair, where Belvédère Duty Free and Imperial Brands introduced the product to travel retail buyers for the first time on their booth.
Among the IAADFS launch celebrations, the “Grove Stand Girls” promotional team sampled the product and gave out branded orange-flavoured lip balms to attendees of Sunday’s Poolside Picnic, which opened the show in searing heat.
Proving it’s hot stuff itself, the brand has already made its debut in selected bars throughout Florida, and at the duty free stores in Miami Airport with Duty Free Americas in October 2009, along with SMT Puerto Rico.
Belvédère Duty Free Sales Director Torben Vedel Andersen revealed that a one-litre bottle would be launched soon. “It will be launched in May or June, and hopefully we will show it in Singapore,” he told The Moodie Report, referring to the TFWA Asia Pacific show in May.

About 4 Orange Premium Vodka
Unlike other orange-flavoured grain vodkas, 4 Orange Premium Vodka is distilled directly from four different types of Florida oranges grown in the areas surrounding Orlando, and is said to be the only spirit made this way in the world.
The four varieties of oranges used – Temple, Valencia, Parson Brown and Hamlin – are grown in the Peace River Basin of Florida; the vodka is distilled with Florida water and bottled in Florida. The vodka is crafted at the oldest operating distillery in Florida, which was established in 1943. Each bottle bears a special designation from the Florida Department of Agriculture attesting to its authenticity.
