HONG KONG. DFS Group and German luxury luggage brand Rimowa have marked the launch of the brand’s Off-White limited-edition collection with a dedicated pop-up store and event at T Galleria by DFS, in Canton Road, Hong Kong. The pop-up is open to the public from 25-28 October.

The pop-up was inspired by the luggage carousel-style design created by Virgil Abloh for the collection’s launch at cultural festival Hypefest in New York earlier this month. The showcase included the latest limited-edition collection of ‘See Through’ luggage, including the Black transparent case with black wheels, handles and accents and the White transparent model featuring white wheels, handles and accents.

The event gathered more than 120 VIPs, customers, media and Hong Kong socialites, among them Faye Tsui, Declan Chan, Elly Lam, Antonia Li, René Chu and Bird Tse. Guests also encountered an interactive photo booth and music by DJ Arthur Bray from Yeti Out.

The Off-White x Rimowa ‘See Through luggage pieces are based on the Rimowa Essential. Their see-through design means they have no interior lining and instead include a Flex-Divider system in black or white, a black or white case cover with the Off-White striped design, and a set of black or white cotton ‘Miscellaneous’ bags for packing.
The cases are fitted with Rimowa’s silent Multiwheel system for manoeuvrability, TSA combination locks, a new custom Off-White luggage belt, and an exclusive transparent amenity kit containing an additional set of orange wheels.
