DFS Group has unveiled two new stores embracing over 5,800sq ft of retail space at Hong Kong International Airport’s new Midfield Concourse.
The shops offer travellers an assortment from DFS’s “five pillars of luxury”, integrating general merchandise with categories such as beauty and fragrances, and wines & spirits.
The range includes over 100 wines and spirits brands as well as popular Korean beauty lines such as Sulwhasoo and Laneige. The new stores also feature a fashion watches and jewellery concept space from Emporio Armani plus travel retail’s first ever Ray-Ban sunglasses shop-in-shop in Asia.
“We are delighted to partner with Airport Authority Hong Kong to bring visitors to Hong Kong International Airport’s new Midfield Concourse the surprising and delightful customer experience they have come to expect from DFS,” said DFS Regional President, Asia North Benjamin Vuchot.

“As the first point of retail for travellers when entering the new concourse, we offer them a multi-branded, cross-category experience designed for ease of shopping and we’re confident passengers will love this approach to the travel retail experience.”
The Midfield Concourse, which opened in December 2015 to help address the rising traffic levels at Hong Kong International Airport, has gradually been adding restaurants, coffee shops and retail outlets to create a one-stop shopping and dining experience for passengers.
DFS’s Midfield Concourse stores are designed to cater to as many as 10 million passengers. In addition to the Midfield Concourse, DFS Group holds the duty free concessions for perfume and cosmetics, duty free liquor and tobacco, and airside general merchandise.
