Diageo begins global roll out of Haig Club after Changi launch

Diageo is to continue the roll out of its single grain Scotch Whisky Haig Club, following its exclusive launch with DFS Group at Singapore Changi Airport.

The brand, created by Diageo in partnership with footballer David Beckham and TV producer Simon Fuller, will initially be available on ten travel retail markets: Singapore, Frankfurt, Tel Aviv, Dubai, London Heathrow, Mexico, Muscat, Incheon, Shanghai and Auckland.

Distribution will be extended to other airports and airlines in the near future, Diageo said.

The roll out coincides with the release of the Haig Club to further domestic markets, following its domestic launch in the UK. New markets in the next few weeks will include China, South Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore and the USA.

As reported, DFS Group introduced Haig Club to travel retail with a month-long activation for the brand at Singapore Changi Airport.

Haig Club is produced at Scotland’s oldest grain distillery, Cameronbridge, under the direction of Master Distiller Chris Clark. The 40% abv grain whisky carries a recommended travel retail price of £40 or US$62.50 for a 70cl bottle.
