SINGAPORE. Diageo has hosted an exclusive Johnnie Walker event for top tier members of the DFS Platinum Services Club, the travel retailer’s invitation-only customer loyalty programme.
Held at the Keppel Bay Marina in Singapore, the event started with a cocktail reception featuring Johnnie Walker Gold Label, followed by a four-course dinner at the Prive Waterfront Bar. The meal was headlined by Maine lobster and Josper-Grilled rib eye, paired with Johnnie Walker Blue Label.

Johnnie Walker brand ambassador Tom Jones shared with guests the qualities and heritage of Blue Label, as a pianist played jazz tunes as entertainment.
After dinner guests were escorted aboard the JW Voyager, a yacht that was especially designed to capture the essence of the Johnnie Walker pioneers who travelled the world in the early 19th century. Constructed as a reproduction of an epic journey, the JW Voyager will be travelling through Asia along the very same 19th century trading routes that were taken by tea clippers in the past, which played a major role in the history of the Johnnie Walker business.
Guests toured the yacht in groups of 10 or less, and were treated to explanations of the rooms and their adornments in private sessions with Johnnie Walker brand ambassadors.
The highlight of the tour was the chance to taste the new triple-malt Johnnie Walker Odyssey, several of which were sold to guests through Changi Airport.
The DFS Platinum Services Club is a global membership programme catering to luxury shoppers that rewards its members with bespoke experiences tailored to each member’s brand and product interests.
