Diptyque introduces new Eau Rose eau de parfum

Diptyque pays a whimsical tribute to the rose with the launch of the Eau Rose eau de parfum
From eau de toilette to eau de parfum: The new edp offers a more intense floral aroma to its predecessor, the Eau Rose edt

French fragrance house Diptyque has launched Eau Rose eau de parfum, a more intense expression of its popular Eau Rose eau de toilette. The two fragrances are now available in global travel retail.

Designed by Perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin who specialises in rose scents, the Eau Rose fragrances offer rich Damascena and Centifolia notes, which are the most highly scented roses in perfumery.

The new eau de parfum combines Damascena and Centifolia with the ethical Firad rose and accents of artichoke, fruity lychee and chamomile.

Firad roses are an ‘upcycled flower’ made from the extracted distillation water of the Damascena rose.

A blooming collaboration: Diptyque has partnered with florist Maurice Harris to create the exclusive festive packaging of both Eau Rose fragrances

To celebrate the launch, Diptyque has introduced new festive packaging for both fragrances.

The fragrance house collaborated with renowned florist Maurice Harris to create explosive, colourful flower arrangements which have been digitally printed onto the packaging.

Harris created two distinctive bouquets that represent the feminine intensity of the eau de parfum and the floral delicacy of the eau de toilette.

Blossoming bougie candles: The Roses, Litchi, Artichaut and Camomille candles each represent a key fragrance note in the Eau Rose edp

In addition, Diptyque has launched four limited-edition bouge candle formats to celebrate the new eau de parfum. These are Roses, Litchi, Artichaut, and Camomille. Individually, each candle represents a key ingredient in the eau de parfum, but when lit together, they recreate the olfactive signature of Harris’ vibrant bouquet.

Roses is fresh and intense, while Camomille is a soothing infusion of honey and powdery violet leaves. Artichaut is a fresh floral fragrance centred on iris accords, while Litchi is fruity and tangy evoking the delicate floral flavour of the fruit.

Diptyque has also revealed a decorative accessory to give its candles a new lease of life. The oval mirror accessories are clipped into any of Diptyque’s glass candle holders, which can then be upcycled into vases.
