US hemp smokables company Hempacco is set to make a stand-out debut at the forthcoming IAADFS Summit of the Americas, in West Palm Beach Florida, 16-19 April (Stand #103).
As it targets travel retail, Hempacco describes itself as a “small company with a big mission: to become one of the largest disruptors of one of the largest industries in the world”.
According to the company’s website, “Providing smokers a non-nicotine cigarette with beneficial properties is what drives us to continue to innovate within our space.”
It details studies indicating that hemp cigarettes are a “valuable alternative to tobacco cigarettes and can help many of the 14% of Americans who smoke tobacco or use nicotine vaporisers”.
“We believe that our hemp cigarettes will significantly impact the US$300 million health care problem in the United States that smoking-related diseases have caused,” the company adds.
Hempacco specialises in herb and hemp-based alternatives to nicotine cigarettes. It manufactures hemp smokables, hemp rolling paper and cannabinoid sticks, with a heavy focus on smokable technology.
The company has developed technology to infuse herbal smoking blends of cannabis cigarettes with terpenoids to alter therapeutic effects of the blends. Its goal is to create a portfolio of functional herb and hemp cigarettes with various new combinations of flavours, aromas, and function”.
Celebrity partners include comedy duo Cheech and Chong, music producer and rapper Rick Ross and American rapper Snoop Dogg.
As part of its international expansion strategy, Hempacco has just opened a new European subsidiary, Hempacco Europe, in Warsaw, Poland.
