UK. Neil Lobo has been appointed general manager for Dixons Tax Free, as part of a group-wide restructure. He replaces Bryan Magrath, formerly director of airport trading and Ireland, who has been named managing director for DSG (Dixons Stores Group) Ireland.
The Dixons Group is Europe’s largest specialist, consumer electronics retailer, and dominates the sector in UK travel retail, with stores at London Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham.
Domestically, the Group has more than 1,370 stores across the UK, the Republic of Ireland, the Nordic region, France, Spain, Italy, Hungary and the Czech Republic. It trades variously as Dixons, Currys, PC World and The Link in the UK, Elkjøp in the Nordic region, PC City in Spain, France and Italy, UniEuro in Italy and Electro World in Hungary and the Czech Republic.
