INTERNATIONAL. Aramis and Designer Fragrances has created two new DKNY Be Delicious scents, to celebrate the arrival of spring. DKNY Be Delicious Juiced and DKNY Fresh Blossom Juiced began rolling out in travel retail earlier this month.
Ripe apples and watery fruits form the basis of DKNY Be Delicious Juiced, with the New York apple at the heart of the composition. Other key ingredients include pear blossom, mango nectar, muguet, white peony, violet, woods and amber.

DKNY Fresh Blossom Juiced is described as a medley of just-picked blossoms and petals. The fragrance opens on notes of pink grapefruit, freesia, cassis and passion flower. Apple again dominates the heart, complemented by lily of the valley, rose petals and sweet peas. Palisander wood, vetiver and white musk complete the dry-down.
Each 50ml fragrance is presented in the signature Be Delicious apple-motif flacon.
In other news, Aramis and Designer Fragrances is relaunching the DKNY Original fragrance, introduced in 1999. The existing men’s and women’s scents have been re-packaged, and a new women’s edt version created.
The masterbrand is being promoted with a new advertising campaign featuring real-life couple Anja Rubik and Sasha Knezevic – a follow-up to the debut real-life couple Esther Canadas and Mark Vanderloo.
And the feminine franchise is being further updated with the launch of DKNY Women Energizing Eau de Toilette, said to offer a fresh, exuberant twist on the original juice. Key ingredients include citrus notes, orchids, chilled vodka, daffodils and white birch.
DKNY Women Energizing Eau de Toilette will be presented in the signature skyscraper bottle, but in a clear, crystal version, to differentiate it from the original. The outer carton is white.
