Dolce & Gabbana dazzles in Doha with Qatar Duty Free

Italian marble, sleek mirrored details and golden tapestries bring elegance to the D&G boutique at Hamad International Airport

QATAR. Qatar Duty Free (QDF) has opened a Dolce & Gabbana (D&G) boutique in the South Node luxury area at Hamad International Airport.

The boutique builds on Dolce & Gabbana’s pop-up presence in the airport’s Viale del Lusso upscale retail and dining zone.

The D&G boutique offers a full assortment of the Italian luxury house’s womenswear and menswear lines with a key focus on leathergoods, accessories and ready-to-wear collections. It was recently featured in our Image of the Day column as photographed by The Moodie Davitt Report President & Editorial Director Dermot Davitt.

Italian textiles and marble decorate the space, paying homage to the Italian heritage of Dolce & Gabbana. The opening further drives QDF’s mission to offer innovative luxury experiences to travellers in Doha and cater to the needs of next-generation luxury consumers such as Millennial and Gen Z shoppers.

Qatar Duty Free Senior Vice President Thabet Musleh said: “As the travel industry continues to welcome new generations of travellers, Qatar Duty Free has recognised the importance of catering to the Gen Z and new type of passengers.

“We believe the D&G boutique is an important addition to our offering for these passengers. We also welcome and support D&G’s sustainability commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and transitioning to low-carbon, environmental-friendly practices which is well aligned with Qatar Duty Free’s own sustainability approach.” ✈
