Dubai Duty Free announces first Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise winners of 2018

UAE. Dubai Duty Free has conducted its first Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise draws of 2018.

Pakistani national Muhammad Akbar Khan, from Islamabad, will take home the US$1 million prize in the Millennium Millionaire promotion after his ticket was drawn. He has not yet been reached and so is currently unaware of his new fortune.

In the Finest Surprise promotion, one car and two motorbikes were given away. Japanese national Tsubasa Mizogami, from Hanoi, Vietnam, won a BMW i8 Crystal White Pearl car.

Clara Lasrado, an Indian national based in Dubai, will drive away the BMW S 1000 XR Ocean Blue motorbike. The second motorbike winner was Mr. Dmitri, a Russian national from St. Petersburg, who has won a BMW R 1200 RS Frozen Bronze Black.

In addition to these draws, a presentation to a previous Millennium Millionaire winner, Suleyman Cem Gunal, also took place in Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport (pictured below).

The latest draws were conducted by Chief Operating Officer Ramesh Cidambi, Executive Vice President – Commercial Nic Bruwer, Senior Vice President – Marketing Sinead El Sibai, Senior Vice President – Retail Sales Sean Staunton; and Senior Vice President – Retail Support Michael Schmidt.
