Dubai Duty Free opens Jo Malone at Dubai International Airport Terminal 3

The new Jo Malone London retail area is a welcome addition to Dubai Duty Free’s Perfume and Cosmetics category

Dubai Duty Free has welcomed the opening of a new Jo Malone London retail area at Dubai International Airport, which has seen a steady growth in daily sales since it opened for business on 23 April.

Strategically located in Concourse 2 of Terminal 3, the new retail area was officially inaugurated by the top management of Dubai Duty Free and The Estée Lauder Companies.

The new store is a welcome addition to Dubai Duty Free’s Perfume and Cosmetics category, which currently accounts for 21% (YTD) of the retailer’s turnover, which is expected to reach US$1.64 billion this year.

Commenting on the addition of Jo Malone London, Dubai Duty Free Executive Vice Chairman Colm McLoughlin said: “We are very pleased with this new offer and we have received a good deal of positive feedback from our customers. The brand has a strong following worldwide and so far 53% of our customers are existing customers of Jo Malone London. Encouragingly though, 47% of those who purchased Jo Malone London since the opening are new to the brand, which is a very good indicator.”
