BELGIUM. Belgian chocolate manufacturer Duc d’O will showcase several new products at the TFWA Asia Pacific fair in Singapore next month (Stand number: G10).
In addition, the company reports that several new listings have been obtained in the Asia Pacific region for the Duc d’O brand.
Duc d’O has been growing fast in southeast Asia since it started its co-operation with the distributor Focus Network Agencies in September 2006, according to Duc d’O Global Travel Retail & Duty Free Director Filip Van de Vyver.

New products being introduced in Singapore include:
Duc d’O Assorted all dark Belgian pralines: An assortment of ten different all-dark Belgian pralines made with home-made fillings and using only natural ingredients. “This novelty fits perfectly into the trend for dark chocolate and is definitely a nice addition to the current assortment,” said Van de Vyver.
Duc d’O all dark chocolate truffles: A Belgian truffle with a light, moussy truffle filling in dark chocolate. Described as a product for real chocolate lovers.

Duc d’O Fruit pralines ballotin 250g: An assortment of five different fruit pralines (five flavours: strawberry, raspberry, orange, grape and pear) covered in dark chocolate.
Duc d’O La Boule party cup 215g: An assortment of twisted chocolate balls with three different fillings: pistachio, mocha and praline. The product comes in innovative packaging and is designed for sharing.
Duc d’O Napolitains tin box 200g: 40 thin square Belgian chocolates in four flavours: dark chocolate, dark chocolate and orange, milk chocolate, and milk chocolate and nougat. Presented in a fancy tin box. It is designed to be a collector’s item, said Van de Vyver.
