NETHERLANDS. Dufri International has introduced a new model in the Casio Exilim line-up of digital cameras.
The EX-TR100 features a slim and stylish camera body with a thickness of 14.9mm, and a variable frame design comprising a frame that opens and closes, and a 3in, high-performance LCD with touch panel that rotates. With this design, users can take pictures in any way they like, while holding the camera at any angle.
Available in black and white versions, the new model is equipped with Casio’s high-performance Exilim Engine HS and high-sensitivity, 12.1-megapixel, back-illuminated CMOS sensor. The camera is fully loaded with an assortment of powerful photography functions.
The HDR-ART function enables users to produce their own original images by selecting from three different processing levels-strong, standard, and light-to transform photos according to the artistic styles of their choice. Users can also apply the camera’s advanced, fully automatic Premium Auto function with just a press of the shutter button.
The EX-TR100’s rotational touch LCD and touch shutter, which can focus and shoot on an area in the frame selected by touching the panel, along with the wide-angle 21mm single-focus lens make it easy for users to take photos of themselves while holding the camera in their hand, Casio said.
The EX-TR100 includes a self-timer that is operated using the touch panel. The camera employs a motion shutter that triggers the timer when it detects motion in an area designated by touching the panel, enabling users to take pictures of themselves after placing the camera anywhere, including hanging it from a wall or setting it on a table top.
