Lindt & Sprüngli is teaming up with Dufry to exclusively pre-launch its Swiss Masterpieces Bijoux Collection.

To support the launch, a promotion is running at Zürich Airport – the home of Lindt Swiss Master Chocolatiers. Customers who buy any three items from the Swiss Masterpieces range will receive a personalised pendant, which can be engraved at the store with a name or message of their choice. There are three pendant shapes to choose from: a heart, a circle or a rectangle.

This latest initiative follows the launch of the Swiss Masterpieces range at Zürich Airport, and the partnership with Dufry, which launched the Heavenly Lindor and Heavenly Napolitains range with the new Stracciatella flavour.

The limited-edition Swiss Masterpieces Bijoux Collection is exclusive to travel retail and contains 26 pralines including two new flavours: Perle de Cuivre and Pépites d‘Or. Perle de Cuivre has crunchy cocoa and cookie in fondant, coated with white and dark chocolate and garnished with a copper-coloured pearl. Pépites d‘Or is an almond praline, with Amaretti, coated in dark chocolate and finished with golden sprinkles.

The collection is presented in premium packaging to target the gifting market.

Dufry Global Category Head Food, Confectionery, Souvenirs & Toys Phillipe Moryl said: “We are delighted about this exclusive pre-launch that perfectly reflects our strategy to closely collaborate with our brand partners to offer travellers a unique experience in travel retail. It is crucial for our end customers and airport partners to propose products that are exclusive to travel retail and to Dufry, and that cannot be found in the domestic market. Our collaboration with Lindt has already proved this concept works very successfully and we look forward to developing it further.”

Lindt & Sprüngli Head of Global Duty Free Division Peter Zehnder commented: “Our focus is on premium partnerships and excellent execution at POS. We know that more and more passengers are looking for premium gifts at the airport, so this partnership with Dufry and launch of our award-winning pralines represents the perfect opportunity for Lindt and Dufry to work together again.”
