Euroitalia has debuted its latest women’s fragrance creation from Versace, Dylan Purple. It is now available in global travel retail.
The new addition to the Italian luxury fashion house’s portfolio of scents, the Versace Dylan Purple Eau de Parfum combines notes of sunny bergamot, bitter orange, and fresh pear.
“I created this fragrance as an invitation to travel,” said Christophe Raynaud, a perfumer at Swiss fragrances creator Givaudan.
“The fragrance has a fresh, fruity, and addictive opening, like a tribute to the iced delights of Italy and its iconic citrus. The floral heart is the representation of a hypnotic sunset by the water. Purple reflections and a delicately scented breeze. Finally, vibrant woods and the elegance of musk to recall the golden and reassuring sand.”
Dylan Purple’s ad campaign is designed to transport viewers into an ‘endless summer’. It stars English fashion model and actress Iris Law and is directed by British/Canadian filmmaker Gordon Von Steiner, who also directed the campaign for 2021 launch Dylan Turquoise.
“I love Iris. She charted her own path. She has an extraordinary spirit,” said Versace Chief Creative Director Donatella Versace. “She is beautiful, smart and a little bit wild…. a real Versace girl. She represents the perfect face for our fragrance, which she embodies with exceptional personal style, energy and fun.”
The Dylan Purple bottle represents Versace’s bold design codes. The elegant shapes represent an Amphora, an ancient Greek vase.
The details are in rose gold: the aluminium capsule is embossed with the head of Medusa and the name of the fragrance engraved. The brand name of the brand is written on the shoulder of the bottle in a striking baroque style.
Dylan Purple also features hair mist, bath and shower gel, and body lotion.
The fragrance comes in three sizes: €64.50 ($68.40) for 30ml, €89 ($94.40) for 50ml, and €114 ($120.90) for 100ml.
The hair mist is available in 30ml for €45 ($47.74), perfumed bath and shower gel in 200ml tube for €34 ($36), and perfumed body lotion in 200ml tube for €42 ($44.55).
