Dyrberg/Kern to launch first sterling silver collection into travel retail

Dyrberg/Kern’s first sterling silver collection is launched at the TFWA World Exhibition

Danish jewellery specialist Dyrberg/Kern has unveiled details of its new fashion jewellery and watch collections, including its first sterling silver jewellery collection for the travel retail market. The new items will be showcased at the 2012 TFWA World Exhibition (Stand number: Blue Village E13).

For Spring/Summer 2013, the Sinners & Saints designer jewellery collection has tried to identify the many shades of grey that constitute the place between black or white, bad or good, according to the company.

The collection consists of several smaller jewellery series, each with its own story. It will introduce new styles to its popular and elegant Starlight series, cool and mysterious organic bone structures in Wishbone, and sparkling statement jewellery in the chic Chain Reaction.

Sterling silver jewellery collection

For the first time, the Danish jewellery company is launching a collection in sterling silver into the travel retail market to emphasise its position as a leading manufacturer of high quality designer jewellery.

The range of selected items includes some brand new styles.

The collection will not replace Dyrberg/Kern’s popular designs in plated metal and stainless steel, but was developed to broaden the brand’s offering.

“We have a unique position in the market for high quality contemporary jewellery. But we never stop developing,
and since we experience a growing demand for sterling silver from our customers, we decided that it was time for
a new launch,” explained CEO Michael Brock Jeppesen.

He added: “A collection in sterling silver also makes us even more distinct from low-priced fashion jewellery.”

Each piece of jewellery is created by Scandinavian designers in the company’s studio in Copenhagen, and then handmade in Asia.

Dyrberg/Kern seeks to produce watches that cater to the consumer’s every need, ranging from sporty, leisure models to elegant, sparkling evening styles.

The new Crystalia watch is described as an elegant timepiece with bracelet and links specially designed in ceramic, a strong yet lightweight material. The bezel is decorated with two rows of Swarovski crystals, making this model a timeless and feminine piece.

The Oceamica model is a classic watch with case as well as bracelet created in ceramic. This model aims to add elegance to the wearer’s look.

Colette features 24 shining crystals on luminous inlays on the hands. This feminine, mid-sized and elegant timepiece is designed in durable stainless steel and comes with a classic linked bracelet.
