UK. TeleAdapt, a leading supplier of communications solutions for mobile computer users, announced the listing of its MiniMouse and SIMBack-up onboard British Airways long-haul flights, and the MiniMP3 on board British Airways EU short haul and long-haul flights, from March 2003.
The inclusion of these products form part of BA’s strategy to diversify in conjunction with the traditional tax free offer, said TeleAdapt. Technology suits the increasingly hardware-enabled business and leisure travel markets.
The total TeleAdapt range now available on BA includes the Optical MiniMouse, MiniMP3 player and recorder and SIMBackup, geared at mobile phone users.
TeleAdapt retail sales manager Steven Amos commented: “We are dedicated to working alongside leading airlines to develop technology products that suit the business and leisure travel markets, whilst being sympathetic to the tight space constraints of onboard retail.”
Onboard BA the MiniMouse is priced at £20 (US$31), the MiniMP3 is priced at £125 (US$196) and the SIMBackup is priced at £25 (US$39).
