Elie Saab’s La Collection des Essences inspired by haute couture

Beauté Prestige International has launched La Collection des Essences, the latest fragrance collection from Lebanese fashion designer Elie Saab.

The collection draws inspiration from the world of haute couture, and was created in collaboration with perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. It comprises four scents which can be worn by both women and men.

Elie Saab’s La Collection des Essences comprises (clockwise from top left) Essence N° 1 Rose, Essence N° 2 Gardenia, Essence N°3 Ambre, and Essence N°4 Oud

Essence N° 1 Rose contains essences of Centifolia, Damascena, Turkish and Bulgarian roses as well as rose absolutes from Grasse and Turkey. It also includes notes of vanilla and cedar.

Essence N° 2 Gardenia is a floral woody fragrance with green and white accents. It features notes of Egyptian Sambac jasmine, iris butter absolute and Indian sandalwood.

Essence N°3 Ambre, described as a luminous reinterpretation of the Amber accord, comprises notes of opoponax, patchouli and sandalwood.

Essence N°4 Oud contains notes of black pepper, benzoin and agar wood.
