UAE. Emirates Group subsidiary Maritime Mercantile International has opened a new Le Clos flagship store at Dubai International Terminal 3 Concourse A.
Located near gate A1 adjacent to first and business class lounges, the innovative new Le Clos store is the company’s third location at the airport. The original store is adjacent to gate B8 in T3 Concourse B; the third is in the Emirates First Class Lounge.
To promote the new store, Le Clos – the Fine Wine & Spirits Airport Duty Free Store – has created a series of special offers for customers.

Customers spending AED1,000 (US$270) or more at Le Clos during the opening two months (2 January to 28 February) are entered into a draw for a special mixed case of “stunning” first growth and other iconic Bordeaux wines from the famed Chateaux, including Lafite, Mouton Rothschild, and Margaux. The case is worth more than US$20,000 and features bottles from the 2003 vintage. The promotion closes on 28 February and the winner will be announced in March.
Le Clos Head Ben Odgers said the company is committed to offering value at all price levels along with unmatched customer service. Odgers commented: “Le Clos’ success is based on great ranges, value and knowledgeable service. We are very excited about opening our new flagship store at Dubai International and wanted to create a series of very special offers for customers at the store, to celebrate this milestone in our development and reward our very loyal customer base.”
The new Le Clos store features a range of new elements including an interactive whisky journey, in-store tasting, bottle engraving and a “˜bottle your own’ option. With its dramatic new store design, complete with a decommissioned “˜Whisky Still’ feature, Le Clos serves unique, rare and valuable bottles, limited editions and expressions, which the brand said cannot be found elsewhere. In addition, Le Clos’ qualified experts are on hand to guide customers through selections in more than 20 languages, 24 hours per day.

Le Clos’ duty free service allows customers to reserve their selections before their flights land, through the brand’s interactive website. Passengers wanting to discover more about the extensive portfolio are invited to browse through the online cellar, where they will find every product in the range, including details on each of their unique qualities.
Passengers can choose on departure and collect on arrival. With the arrivals service the purchase is delivered to the customer at the arrivals hall with the purchase packed and ready to take home. First Class passengers can opt to pick up their order from the Emirates lounge.
Le Clos tells The Moodie Report that a further two outlets will open by the end of February – a new kiosk in Concourse B near the First and Business lounges and a fifth store in the Concourse A Emirates First Class Lounge.
