AUSTRALIA. Emirates Leisure Retail Australia (ELRA) has opened two more outlets at Brisbane Airport’s Domestic Terminal – Glasshouse Bar and Aviation Pier Café & Bar.
The duo of openings brings ELRA’s travel retail food & beverage portfolio in Australia to 27 outlets, located across every major airport.
Glasshouse Bar is located in the heart of the Domestic Terminal southern retail precinct. Inspired by the spirit of the iconic Glasshouse Mountains of Southeast Queensland, the new bar offers a “relaxed, contemporary setting” with magnificent views over the Brisbane Airport airfield and beyond, the company noted.
Aviation Pier Café & Bar is sited at the upper end of the concourse in the southern end of the Domestic Terminal. ELRA described it as the “new centrepiece food retail destination” in the revamped precinct.

Both venues offer Hudsons Coffee Premium Blend as their coffee of choice and a wide selection of dishes created by Peter Reffell, ELRA’s Executive Chef.
Reffell has drawn culinary creativity from locally sourced ingredients through local suppliers to create a true sense of Queensland place, ELRA said. These specialist local suppliers include Green Beacon Brewery, Tamborine Mountain Free Range Eggs. Chriberg quality smallgoods and others.
