US nail polish company Essie is launching a new travel retail exclusive set of nail varnishes to celebrate its 35th anniversary.

Viva las Vegas comprises four iconic Essie colours: starry starry night, life of the party, bikini with a martini and birthday suit, and pays tribute to the city where it premiered its first twelve “unconventional” nail polish colours in 1981.

The brand, said to be known for its “˜no-chip’ polishes, offers more than 250 colour shades which feature “whimsical” names. In February 2015 Essie named accessories and apparel designer Rebecca Minkoff as the brand’s Global Colour Designer.
