Estée Lauder’s nourishing new face oil |
Estée Lauder has reformulated its Nutritious line, introduced in 2007. The new collection is being launched this month into travel retail doors across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas, before being rolled out to Asia Pacific from May.
The original line harnessed the benefits of pomegranate, considered to be loaded with skin-boosting nutrients and anti-oxidants. The updated collection features a powerful “superfood” pomegranate nectar infusion, said to detoxify irritants, neutralise free radicals, and infuse skin with vital nutrients. As a result, skin is recharged, and takes on a virtual “post-exercise” glow, the brand maintains.
Other key ingredients include cranberry, blueberry and wolfberry – a Chinese herb that helps enhance the absorption of nutrients.
The new Nutritious line comprises a Radiant Vitality 2-in-1 Foam Cleanser, Energy Lotion in Intense Moist and Fresh Moist versions, Essence Oil and 2-Step Treatment.
The dual-action cleanser is the first step in the Nutritious regimen, and can be used either as a daily cleanser or as a purifying mask. The treatment lotions are available in two textures, to leave skin prepped to absorb the maximum benefits from the products that follow.
The Essence Oil, described as a vitamin booster for the skin, is said to revitalise, fortify and protect skin, rebuilding its natural lipid barrier to combat irritation and moisture loss. The 2-Step Treatment combines a Detoxifying Clay Mask with a Nutrient Infusing Gel Mask, to both deeply cleanse pores and rebalance moisture levels.
The new Nutritious collection is suitable for all skin types. In addition to the full line, Lauder has created a travel retail exclusive set, containing the 2-in-1 Foam Cleanser, Energy Lotion and Nutritious Night Vita-Mineral Intense Nourishing Creme/Mask.
