Estée Lauder has bolstered its Asian skincare portfolio with the new Micro Essence Skin Activating Treatment Lotion, which has been developed specifically for Asian skin. It is being launched this month in Asia Pacific travel retail doors, and in selected locations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas.
Described as micro-targeted, micro-nourishing and micro-active, the Treatment Lotion is said to leave skin stronger and more resistant to signs of ageing. Its key ingredient is a Micro-Nutrient Bio-Ferment, which was inspired by living organisms called extremophiles, which have a natural ability to survive and thrive in some of the harshest environments on earth.
The Micro-Nutrient Bio-Ferment contains a combination of micronutrients and ferments which support optimal cellular renewal and resistance, according to the brand. It also helps to activate the skin’s multiple pro-youth activity and “reset” the look of skin.
More specifically, the Micro-Nutrient Bio-Ferment strengthens the skin’s barrier; calms irritation; fuels energy; and intensifies deep moisture. The result is softer, smoother skin, which looks radiant, translucent and younger, Lauder maintains.
Micro Essence Skin Activating Treatment Lotion should be applied twice a day after cleansing. It has been created as the first step within a treatment regimen and should be followed by a repair serum.
