The Lane Crawford Joyce Group is one of Asia’s premier international brand forces, representing luxury and fashion brands through a network of distribution, retailing and franchising. The group will work closely with Estée Lauder to strategically position and expand the Jo Malone brand’s presence in the region.

Over the first five years of the agreement, a combination of free-standing retail stores and shop-in-shop concepts will be opened throughout the region. The first store opens this week in Hong Kong at Lane Crawford in the IFC mall. The luxurious 450sq ft setting will incorporate elements from Jo Malone’s flagship store on Sloane Street in London, such as the library-style shelves, the linear glass bottles and the signature gift boxes throughout.

Commenting on the announcement, The Estée Lauder Companies President of Specialty Brands Maureen Case said: “We are very excited about opening Jo Malone in Hong Kong and throughout the region with our retail partner, the Lane Crawford Joyce Group who is the expert purveyor of luxury.

“We anticipate Jo Malone to be received very well. The modern aesthetic of the brand and the iconic packaging will appeal to the discerning consumer in this region,” she added.

Estée Lauder Asia Pacific President Fabrice Weber said: “Jo Malone is rapidly establishing itself as a powerful destination for knowledgeable consumers looking for high-end British-Chic and very tasteful products around the world, whether for self-consumption or for gifts with a classic yet modern twist.

“The Lane Crawford Joyce Group’s unique expertise at operating premium brands’ flagship stores in high-street and high-end malls will most definitely enable Jo Malone to create in this part of the world the undisputable success it has become in the UK,” he enthused.

The Lane Crawford Joyce Group President Bonnie Brooks commented: “We are thrilled to have Jo Malone join our group of distinguished and unique brands, and we look forward to the launch of the brand in Asia later this month.”
