Smooth operator: Estée Lauder’s new Idealist Dual-Action Refinishing Treatment

UK. Estée Lauder has updated its Idealist franchise with the new Idealist Dual-Action Refinishing Treatment, which is being launched in travel retail this month.

The product is said to incorporate a revolutionary skin refinishing technology that penetrates deep within the skin’s surface layers to deliver dramatic skin resurfacing benefits.

It is also billed as a gentle alternative to both micro-dermabrasion and a 30% glycolic peel.

This fast-acting formula generates immediate results, according to Lauder. With just one application, the product is claimed to reveal smooth, polished skin that looks virtually pore-free.

Described as the ideal partner to Lauder’s Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher, the new multi-action treatment features unique thermal technology which releases a comforting, warming sensation that reaches deep within pores to help dissolve the build-up of sebum and impurities.

The company’s advanced MicroSphere Refinishing System then helps gently polish away the skin’s dead outermost surface layer, while concentrated levels of Glucosamine and Salicylic Acid work at a deeper level to aid exfoliation.

Lastly, a potent Barrier Repair Complex that includes Sunflower Seed Cake, Barley Extract, Cucumber Fruit Extract, as well as Anti-Irritation Technology featuring including Liquorice Extract, helps keep skin feeling comfortable and looking calm.

Idealist Dual-Action Refinishing Treatment is suitable for all skin types. It is oil-free, non-comedogenic, and dermatologist- and ophthalmologist-tested.

In other news, Lauder has extended its travel retail exclusive repertoire by reintroducing four limited-edition 75ml repair duos, for its Advanced Night Repair, Advanced Night Repair Whitening, Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher and Perfectionist [CP+] products.

The duo sets, which offer a value saving, allow travellers to stock up on their favourite repair products. They are rolling out in travel retail this month.
