UK/AUSTRIA. UK-based distributor Scorpio and Austrian crystal specialist Swarovski have signed a partnership agreement covering the UK and Ireland inflight market, The Moodie Report can exclusively reveal.
The co-operation between Scorpio and Swarovski begins with the UK and Irish airlines’ spring/summer 2011 catalogues.

“Both Scorpio and Swarovski are known and respected players in the inflight business. Through our co-operation we are highly confident to offer the UK and Ireland airlines excellence in product and service and thereby growing the airlines’ onboard sales,” Swarovski Vice President Travel Retail Peter Zottl told The Moodie Report.
He added: “The decision to partner with Scorpio has been helped and actually been made easy by their being part of Gebrüder Heinemann, with whom Swarovski has been co-operating in a good and successful partnership for many years.”
