Fabris Lane’s contemporary stand at MIDO 2006 featured high-impact graphics for each of the company’s brands |
UK. Fabris Lane enjoyed a highly successful and high-profile presence at MIDO, the world’s largest fashion eyewear show held in Milan in May.
The UK’s largest sunglasses company launched two new collections at MIDO 2006 – Jigsaw Eyewear and Karen Millen sunglasses.
The new fashion collections were presented alongside house brands, Fabris Lane Made in Italy and hip fashion brand M :UK, together with high-profile licensed collections FCUK Sun, Ben Sherman Shades and Animal Eyewear.
The fashionable collections were showcased on a premium and contemporary stand, which highlighted each of the brands and projected their brand values through high-impact graphics. The collections were presented in premium display cabinets that sat alongside modern design classic furniture for an eclectic mix.
Key appointments were held with existing travel retail customers, reviewing new eyewear trends and building current business. Potential new travel retail clients were also interested in taking the collections in numerous territories.
With Fabris Lane enjoying sustained export growth since 2004, MIDO continues to represent the ideal showcase to present its portfolio of top brands to achieve distribution in key target markets such as the US, Australia and Europe. The long-term objective is to build a global network of distribution to meet demand in Asia and the rest of the world for all its collections – both domestic and tax free.
Launched in Spring/Summer 2006, the new Jigsaw Eyewear collection echoes the traditional spirit of the quintessentially British brand. The collection is an understated, eclectic and feminine range crafted from the materials of the finest quality.
With a contrasting interpretation of femininity and fashion trends, Karen Millen is a smart, sassy and sexy British brand that exudes glamour. The 2006 sunglasses collection reflects this outlook with sparkling detailing and logo treatments on a selection of glamorous oversized frames.
