US. Fairn & Swanson has opened a new Baja store in Brownsville, Texas.
The company said the new store is the “continuation of Fairn & Swanson’s retail strategy to have locations coast-to-coast along the Mexican border with stores from California to Texas”.
Due to the shop’s proximity to South Padre Island, the Gulf of Mexico and Monterey in Mexico, Brownsville is a major border crossing for tourists and business travellers alike. The town itself is also home to some 140,000 people.
Vice President of Retail Operations Elisa Castro said: “The experience we have gained at our other locations has prepared us for the challenge we will face in this new market. Although competition will be tight, our success will be due to our understanding of the business.”
