Familia Torres partners with Dubai Duty Free and MMI Travel Retail Division in exclusive Celeste release

UAE. Spanish wine producer Familia Torres has teamed up with Dubai Duty Free and distributor MMI Travel Retail Division in an exclusive Celeste wine release at Dubai International Airport.

The 2021 Celeste Crianza Dubai City Skyline Edition, from the Pago del Cielo winery, celebrates the UAE city’s architecture and starry skies. The limited edition features Dubai landmarks in silver-on-black designs, painted directly onto the glass bottle.

The 2021 Celeste Crianza Dubai City Skyline Edition: A tribute to Dubai and “an exceptional wine”

Celeste Crianza is produced with 100% Tinto Fino grapes, the local name for the Tempranillo variety in Spain’s Ribera del Duero region. The wine is aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels and offers aromas of black fruits, delicate toasted nuances and a spicy undertone.

Located in the town of Fompedraza (Valladolid), at an altitude of almost 900m, Pago del Cielo is said to offer an ideal climate for producing intensely aromatic red wines that reflect the character of this Spanish wine-growing region

Pago del Cielo Winemaker Juan Ramón García said: “This limited edition of our Celeste Crianza is the result of a collaboration between Familia Torres and Dubai Duty Free to create an exceptional wine that is also a tribute to Dubai.

“This is a wine that encapsulates our viticultural heritage and forward-thinking craftsmanship, nurtured beneath the constellations of Ribera del Duero and now graced with the luminescence of Dubai.”

Celeste Crianza Dubai City Skyline Edition is available exclusively through Dubai Duty Free stores which also highlight other Torres wines, including Celeste Reserva (Ribera del Duero), Pazo Torre Penelas Blanco Granito (Rias Baixas), Las Pisadas (Rioja) and Viña Esmeralda (Catalunya). ✈️
