Famille Perrin joins Travel Retail Fine Wine Alliance

The Travel Retail Fine Wine Alliance (TRFWA) – a group championing fine wine in travel retail – has welcomed its sixth member, French wine company Famille Perrin.

As reported, five of the world’s leading wine producers joined forces in the alliance last year, with a joint presence at the 2022 TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes. The founding member wineries are Albert Bichot (France), Cono Sur (Chile), González Byass (Spain), Masi Agricola (Italy) and Symington Family Estates (Portugal).

TRFWA aims to highlight the contribution that renowned wine-producing families can bring to travel retail through collaboration. “Sharing experiences between them is not only of great value to their businesses but, most importantly, to the improvement of experience that new wine lovers look at in a fast-moving travel retail world,” TRFWA aid.

“We are certain that the Perrin family, with its already strong presence in travel retail and high expectations for their Miraval range of Provence wines, will definitely be an important and active member in pursuing these goals.”

Championing nature and tradition: Famille Perrin is led by fifth-generation family members

Famille Perrin is a leading organic wine grower in the Southern Rhône Valley, with a reputation built on respect for the soil, a commitment to manual methods and a belief that organic viticulture is the only way to express the essence of terroir.

Famille Perrin estates include Château de Beaucastel, Miraval, Domaine du Clos des Tourelles and La Vieille Ferme.

Four TRFWA members – González Byass, Famille Perrin, Masi and Symington – will align at the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition in Singapore (Basement 2, F19) in May. Their objective, according to the wine producers, is to “join forces to promote premium wines in the travel retail sector”.

TRFWA added, “The alliance is pleased to be back in the region after four years of absence due to COVID. APAC represents a key area as major travel retail operators are present and their activities reach far beyond the region.” ✈
