French gourmet food specialist Fauchon has extended its footprint in travel retail with a new outlet at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport Terminal 2D.
The pastry kiosk, located near Exit 7 and accessible to all passengers, offers baked-on-site gourmet snacks including macarons, chocolates, madeleines and other delicatessen products.

Macarons are priced at €1.9 (US$2) and a 16-piece Mini-Madeleine Cone, offering three flavours (plain with honey, pistachio and caramel) is €8 (US$8.5).
Boxes of nine, 25 or 36 chocolates, with Piedmont hazelnuts, bourbon vanilla or strawberry pulp flavours, start at €15 (US$16).
Other boxed products include the Magenta Heart Tin (€13, US$13.8), shortbreads with almond milk and almond slivers (€6.50, US$6.9) and a collection of 16 fruit pastes (€20, US$21.3).
